For once Paulicarus and Jorvic made the wrong choice. The large bar is undergoing a major refurb but clearly aims for a younger market. My Fullers London Pride was just about OK but the Pinot was awful and left undrunk / poured down the drain. Large noisy interior with TV’s blasting out music?!. Picnic tables out front on the street. The Cherwell has recently reopened under new membership. It’s bright and clean with good beer. Lots of space for groups to watch the sport of their choice, and play pool and darts. Nice space in Banbury.
